Due to the current pandemic, Bishop Robert McManus has made the decision to extend the dispensation from the obligation to attend Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of obligation for people living in or visiting the Diocese of Worcester until the Feast of Pentecost May 23, 2021.
In order to avoid the gathering of people around the chapel area on Saturdays before Mass, confessions will be heard on Tuesdays from 7-8 pm in the OLI chapel starting June 2nd.
After very careful consideration it was determined that we cannot have Mass at St. Peter’s and meet the health guidelines set out by the Diocese and public health officials. Rest assured though, our 9:30 Mass at St. Peter’s will resume when it is safe to do so. In the meantime, Masses will be held 4 PM Saturday and 11 AM Sunday at Our Lady Immaculate and 8 AM Sunday at St. Francis.
All masses, confessions, sacraments and funerals will be held at St. Francis Church on Main St. Confessions on Saturday will be heard at 3:30 pm. Adoration on Tuesdays is cancelled. All of this, until Our Lady’s Church is ready to be used again after the fire in the basement. Thank you for your prayers and understanding.
